Gracie Story

My niece and nephew came over yesterday and spent the night. The four older kids went outside to play tag. Gracie wanted to go out, too. I knew the kids would be to busy playing to watch her so I went out with Gracie.
She was having a blast just chasing after the kids. She didn't care who it was, she would fall in behind whom ever ran past her. Josh and Brandon ran around the garage and Gracie started after them. When she came around the front of the garage she was running in the street. I had told her not to get in the street so I made her sit on the porch with me for a few minutes time-out.
I explained to her why she was in time-out and why she shouldn't run in the street. In her 2 year old babble, she was telling me something about running after "Gosh"... her word for Josh. I told her it was fine she was chasing Josh but she can't run in the street. With a huff she says, "but I can run faster in the street!"
