I took vacation last week and what little computer time I've had has been spent trying to figure out my new toy. Chuck got me a Palm Pilot and an iPod. I haven't spent too much time on the iPod but I have done a lot to get my Palm Pilot organized. I am absolutely going to love this little miracle organizer. I can put all my calendar, addresses and appointment stuff on it. I downloaded a shopper program that I can use as my grocery list and keep track of bills and expenses. I never thought I would be such a tech-no geek....but this is just the coolest thing!
So here is a quick jumble of last week.......
Christmas morning was fun. Josh and Caleb got a new basketball goal and MP3 players. Gracie got a big green firetruck ...... she'll have to wait for the yard to dry up before she can drive it ... I bought Chuck a fishing trip .... of course I am going too. Can't wait for that ... and I got my iPod and Palm ...which I can also download daily scripture verses on it...
At Chuck's parents the boys got a game chair. They plug in their PS2, MP3 and DVD players and the sound comes through speakers in the chair... it's pretty cool... Christmas afternoon I took Gracie to ER. She had a fever, bad cough and labored breathing..... I found out later 2 kids at day care had RSV ... The Dr gave her some antibiotics and breathing treatment. The next morning her fever was gone and she was breathing much better.
Tuesday morning the kids and I went to TN to visit my Mom, brother and sister-in-law. We had a good time. However, I must comment on Interstate driving. If you don't already know, the left lane is for passing. It is not for drivers to pull up next to the person in the right lane and both drive the same speed.... I think some people must use this for their own personal justice against speeders ...So in the future if you're driving slow in the left lane, move over so I can, ehem, I mean... so other people can pass.
Tomorrow Suzie gets tubes put in her ears. Pray everything goes smoothly.
TTFN
.......Oh yeah. Suzie will be one year old in 12 weeks. My New Year's resolution: To loose the remaining 15 lbs from pregnancy by Suzie's 1st birthday. Rachel, you up for the challenge??
