Sing Along Sunday

I love music. All kinds. All types. All Eras. This morning on my dark and sleepy drive to work... trying to keep an eye out for any suicidal deer... The radio played a song that I hadn't paid attention to in a while.

When this song first came out I loved it and put it on my iP0d right away. After a while I got bored with the song and began skipping it on my iP0d and turning the station when it came on the radio. This morning I left it on and really paid attention the the words. The lyrics renewed my love of the song and gave me a great idea for my blog.

I want to start a Sunday link posting lyrics to songs that touched me/you that week. Sundays seem to be an off day in the bloggy world so I thought this would be a quick way to get in a post. Plus, Sunday is the day of inspiration. I have found some of my favorite songs by reading about them or hearing them on some elses blog.

The songs can be new, old or one you just haven't heard in a while. It doesn't necessarily have to be a Christian song. Maybe you hear a song that sparks a memory and takes you to a place you haven't been in a while.

The idea is just unfolding so I would love any thoughts or suggestions for this project. I was thinking of calling it 'Sing Along Sunday' or Sing For Your Sunday'. Anybody have ideas for the title?

Also.... I am new to this linkage stuff... where do I go to get one of those cute link-y buttons made? And how do I have people link to it? .... Yea, I know. I'm a blogger idiot....

Different ideas I'm tossing around is adding the song to a blogger juke box and playing it all week. I know some people don't like music on their blog so maybe add a link to the Sunday post so readers could hear it.

So here is the song that sparked this idea, the group is fairly new. I have another blogger question. When I add a link to my post how do I get it to pop up in a new window when someone clicks on it?
