And when I say 'we'- I mean a Nation as a whole. I hear so many news outlets misinform the public by blaming President Bush for our economic and energy problems (as well as Katrina and any other disaster that has occurred in the last 8 years)
But President Bush is not an elected King- he is just the President. Look at what Congress is doing- the ones that make the laws...
And this is a Democratic Congress... the political side that thinks bigger government is better.... the political side that thinks they know how to run our life better than we do.... the political side that wants to control every move of every American...
This is not Democracy, it's Socialism

So true! I just have to say - your comment about the difference in the south with people dropping by, southern hospitality was one the things I missed the most while in the north. It was so hard to understand the different way things were done, that I just took for granted - i had no idea how different! If only I could have that soft grass and sweet smell from there down here...

Crap, I dropped one of those last week and I had no idea that they contained mercury. It was still in the box so I just took it up and put it in the garbage in my kitchen. Meaning we were breathing it in for a day or 2. yikes!
I haven't been able to read cause we were out of town, but the Suzie-isms and the mop story were hilarious! I am laughing so hard at the mopping! How funny your boys are, trying their best to do it, but not really getting it!

So glad you're getting the news out Bek - I've been buying up as many of the incandescent bulbs as I can. I was so excited to see the Texas Rep. speak out about this. Hopefully that law will be reversed.

PS about dropping the light bulb, grandma and I was saying how funny it would be if someone threatened to drop some of the bulbs and see how quickly the room emptied.. . . :o)
