Arguing With Suzie

I seem to be posting a lot about Suzie- but I can't help it. She is at that age where just about everything she says and does makes me laugh. I remember the other kids making me laugh when they were this age too. So anyway, here are some conversations with Suzie....

****

Several weeks ago Suzie and I were out and about. I tried to get her to do her funny laugh but she wouldn't do it

"Com'on, Suze," I pleaded. "I just bought you a juice" I was trying to bribe her but it did no good, other than start an argument over who bought the juice.

Suzie held up her juice, "I picked it out"

Me, "Well, I paid for it"

Suzie, "Nu uh. I paid for it"

Me, "What money do you have?"

Suzie, "Well, its kinda like yours"

Me, "But my money is real"

Suzie, "No, My money is real"

Me, "At least my money is visible."

Suzie, "Nu uh, my money is visible."

Me, "No, your money is INvisible."

Suzie, "No. My money is OUTvisible."

Lol- There is no arguing with That kind of logic...

Sitting in my van, waiting on Josh to get done with practice, the girls and I were trying to pass the time....

To give a little back-history here, Caleb learned to play Sweet Home Alabama on his guitar a while back and occasionally the girls like to listen to the song I have on my iPod...

Suzie shouted from the backseat, "Play 'Halabama'."

I was a little puzzled at first, "Whats 'Halabama'?" But as soon as I said the words, it dawned on me- she wanted to listen to Sweet Home Alabama.

I dug around in my purse for my iPod, "Suzie, its 'Alabama' not 'HALabama'."

Suzie argued back, "No. Its 'HALabama'."

"No. Its ALabama"

"No. HALabama"

"ALabama"

"HALabama"

...Oye! I give up... my iPod was plugged in and Q'd to play Sweet Home Alabama. I turned the radio up loud enough to drown out Suzie's last "HALabama" in an effort to win the argument.

...bomp bomp banehr. bomp bomp banehr... The music played and soon he started to sing. Once he got into the chorus, Suzie joined in, singing loud and proud, "Swee Hole HAlabama"

I shook my head and laughed
