The girls have come off with some pretty funny comments lately. I've jotted them down here where they have awaited the actual writing. I finally gotten them in somewhat story format- their one-liners crack me up

Gracie was wearing a head band that had two pom poms glued to it. The pom poms stood straight up off the top of her head. Suzie called Gracie's name a few times, trying to get her attention. But Suzie's polite attempts failed. However, she decided to give it one more shot.
Suzie squared herself up to Gracie so her voice couldn't be missed. Took a deep breath and called for her one more time, "Hey Big Ears."
I about rolled out of my chair laughing "Did you just call her 'Big Ears'?"

Gracie and Suzie like to wear their church shoes around the house. They like the noise they make when the run up and down the hall... tappity tap tap... they often refer to them as their 'dance shoes'.
Suzie sat down on the floor and strapped on her pretty black shoes. Shoes securely strapped, Suze jumped up off the floor and poped off, "Ok, I have my dancing shoes on. I'm ready to rumble."
Again- I bout fell out my chair laughing

When I visited my Sister earlier this month, Gracie talked to me several times before I left about making sure I pet Rachel's dog and cat.
When I got to Florida and called home, the first thing out of Gracie's mouth was not "I love you" or not "I miss you" but the first thing she said was
"did you get to Rachel's house yet?"
"yes"
"did you pet her cat?"
"yes"
Gracie asked her next question with breathless anticipation, "Well?... How was it?"
She was wanting to know how their fur felt, but Rachel and I had a good laugh at the way Gracie posed her question

Playing in their Barbie jeep- Gracie says to Suzie "Oh Honey, you need to scoot over. You don't have your driver's license yet"
Suzie says "Oh. Ok." and scoots over so Gracie can get in the driver seat.
...How the heck does she know you need a license to drive? LOL

Caleb wasn't going to be able to make it to his friends house for a sleep over so I told him to call and let his friend know. Caleb says he tried to call, but no one answered.
I sighed heavy, familiar with Caleb's attempt at Tried, and told Caleb to hand me his phone. But when I dialed the number, there was in fact, no answer... Ok, so Caleb actually Tried this one time...
Gracie was listening to our conversation and says, "Why don't you just text him"
"What" I asked Gracie, one brow arched.
Gracie says again, "Why don't you just text him."
I laughed "Because I cant text him on his phone"... meaning I don't know if he's allowed to get text messages...
Gracie says "Oh. You mean you have to use a 'Regular' phone.
Her perception of things continues to baffle me.

Mamaw got a new slide at her house for the girls. Suzie kept yelling for Chuck to watch her, "Watch Daddy. This is cool"
Finally she got Chuck's attention long enough for her to go down a couple times. On her last slide down, she got up, wiped off her behind and huffed, "This is RiDiculous!"
