My Little Decorator

If you pay attention to the pictures, I started this post back in April. See, even though I've neglected this blog, I didn't forget about it completely...

I came home from work one Sunday afternoon, after the girls spent the day at home with Chuck, and found my house redecorated. My first inclination was to get after Suzie, she is notorious for moving things around.... Sometimes I wonder why I even bother to decorate... But Gracie was the culprit this time. The following pictures regale her attempts.

This little stool was my Grandma's. I repainted it and made a new cushion several years ago. It usually is in my room, but Gracie moved it to her room.

This is the rocking chair that usually sits in the corner of the dining room. Gracie moved it down the hall to my room, where my Grandma's stool is supposed to be

The brown chair at the head of the table usually sits in the corner of the front hall

This is the dining room chair that belongs at the head of the table. Gracie placed it where the little brown chair goes.

This is the corner where my rocking chair is supposed to go. Gracie carried this little chair from her room, where she replaced it with my Grandma's stool.

And these are the Key Lime Pies I made for dinner with Chuck's family. I was happy to find them where I left them; and happier, still, to find them whole and uneaten.
